A Lion in the Bush

This past Wednesday night, at our midweek Bible study, CCC was graced with a message from Bishop Peter of Kenya, Africa. His message was an incredibly encouraging one, focusing on the story of Ruth and Naomi. Towards the end of the message he told a story about a Lion in the Bush - and it was powerful!

The 4 main points that the story illustrates are these:

1. The Lion never retreats
2. The Lion never looks back
3. The Lion is generous
4. The Lion always knows where his tribe is

I've made a fresh commitment to be a lion in the kingdom of God... looking forward to God's plan for my future, never retreating in the face of uncertainty, giving abundantly and never forgetting my brothers and sisters in Christ.
