Steve and Cyndi Austin, Senior Pastors

Pastor Steve and Cyndi Austin felt the call of God to start Champions Community Church, originally named Champions Covenant Church, over 15 years ago. In an audible voice, God spoke to Pastor Steve in an “upper room” prayer meeting that he would “pastor a church of answered prayer.” With that, CCC was born.

Pastor Steve and Cyndi, along with 30 close friends held the first service at CCC’s original location on New Year’s Eve, 1994.

Through ministries led by the Holy Spirit, designed to produce spiritual maturity, develop healthy relationships, and service through love to our community, over 700 souls have been added to the CCC family.

As a result of God's faithful people giving to, and serving in the will of God, CCC has taken possession of 17 acres of prime real estate for the Kingdom of God. And, in August 2004, the construction of CCC’s new 35,000 sq. ft. church facility was completed.

Chase Austin, Associate Pastor

Chase Austin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After completing a 2-year Leadership Training Program at Texas Bible Institute, he was ordained, under Pastor Steve Austin, Pastor of Champions Community Church, Houston, Texas, in Spring, 2006. He currently serves as Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor at CCC. 

Following in the footsteps of two generations of spiritual leaders: Pastor Steve Austin (father) and Prophet Robert Mitchell (grandfather). Chase has ministered across the United States at various churches and events. One of the main goals he hopes to achieve when ministering is for people to walk away inspired to live life to the fullest, for God.
